Investigative Learning
Investigative Learning is an inquiry-based curriculum that is a responsive approach to education. Young children are viewed as capable protagonists of their learning journey. Our curriculum is based on this unique approach.
Our Curriculum
Choosing childcare is an important decision. Safe and positive childcare sets the stage for healthy growth and development. It takes time, patience, and an understanding of what to look for when selecting childcare. You know the needs of your child and family. Read below to know more about our curriculum.
Our Approach
At Town East Learning Center, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their interests in a safe space. We implement a play-based philosophy. Children learn social, cognitive, and emotional skills by exploring new experiences. Our staff and facilities are responsive to the children in our care and allow children’s interests to help facilitate their learning and engagement.
Children and Technology
Children 3-5 may use supplemental computer programs under supervision. We allow and monitor the use of select electronics.
